    Constructed as an Oxford I by Standard Motor Car Co. Ltd. at Coventry, England.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n MP425.

    From 12 March 1943 to Circa 4 April 1945

    Transferred to No. 1536 Beam Approach Training Flight, Spitalgate, Lincs.
    Pilot log books indicate the airframe may have stayed with No. 1536 into April 1943, rather than transfer to No.18 below.

    18 February 1945

    Transferred to No. 18 (Pilots) Advanced Flying Unit, Church Lawford, Warwickshire.

    March 1945

    Transferred to No. 18 (Pilots) Advanced Flying Unit, Relief Landing Ground, Snitterfield, Warwickshire.

    12 May 1945

    Transferred to No. 7 SFTS, Westwood, Peterborough, Cambs.

    April 1946

    Operated by No. 7 SFTS, Kirton.

    7 June 1946

    Transferred to No. 12 MU, Kirkbride, Cumbria.
    Sent to No. 12 for disposal.

    April 1960

    To College, Air Training with new c/r G-AITB.
    Air Services Training became College of Air Training when the parent company, Hawker Siddeley, sold the company to the Government.

    August 1960

    To Airwork Services Training Ltd, Perth Aerodrome, Scotland keeping c/r G-AITB.

    23 May 1961

    Withdrawn from use and used as a ground instruction aiframe for engineering training.

    March 1969

    To RAF Museum.

    June 1969

    To RAF Museum Storage, Henlow.
    Placed in storage at Henlow.

    June 1970

    Loaned to No. 27 MU Shawbury, Salop.
    The intent was that volunteers would restore the airframe, but this did not happen.

    May 1972

    Returned from lease.
    Returned to storage at Henlow.

    Restoration started.
    The wings and tail were restored at Henlow.

    By June 1975

    Transferred to RAF Museum Restoration Centre, Cardington.

    1985

    Repair started.
    The restoration was resumed at Cardington.

    May 1990

    Restoration completed.
    Markings Applied: G

    19 May 1991

    Loaned to Newark Air Museum, Notts.

    15 May 1994

    Returned from loan to RAF Museum Restoration Centre, Cardington.
    Returned to Cardington prior to transfer for Hendon.

    October 1994

    To RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
