    Deployed on USS Enterprise.

    1979

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 128 (VA-128), NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

    1982

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 145 (VA-145), NAS Whidbey Island, WA.
    Deployed on USS Ranger.

    From 1987 to 1989

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 196 (VA-196), NAS Whidbey Island, WA.
    Operated with markings: NK-503

    1989

    Transferred to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 5 (VX-5), NAWS China Lake, CA.
    Assigned to VX-5 for two years.

    By October 1990

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 196 (VA-196), NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

    From Circa October 1990 to February 1991

    Deployed on USS Independence for combat in Operation Desert Storm in the Mid-East.
