Incident occurred at the Great Western Airport, Reedley, CA. The flight departed from Reedley, CA, with the destination Woodlake, CA. Ground looped or water swerved while taxiing. Collided with an object while taxiing. The factors included; airport hidden hazard...

    Constructed as an EQC-6.
    The original aircraft with registration marks CF-AZM was Waco EQC-6 (c/n 4449)operated by Grant McConachie, then President of Yukon Southern Transport.On 22 November, 1938 crashed through the ice on Watson Lake and was never recovered.In 1983, Jack Landage of Calgary purchased the aircraft in Woodlake, California and imported it to Calgary, where he restored it to mint condition with new fabric and overhauled engine. It was he who applied for and received the famous registration CF-AZM that Grant McConachie had used
