    Constructed as a Me-262A.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Luftwaffe with s/n GM+UK.

    1945

    Transferred to III/EGJ2.
    Operated with markings: white 35

    Converted to a Me-262B-1a/U1.
    Possibly converted to a two-seater by Blohm und Voss at Wenzendorf, with additional work carried out by DLH at Staaken.

    21 March 1945

    Flown by Kurt Reuth as an acceptance flight at Stade.

    Transferred to NJG 11, Schleswig.
    Possibly transferred to NJG 11.

    Captured at Schleswig.

    Transferred to 54th Air Disarmament Squadron, Lechfeld.
    Operated with markings: 639, Vera

    Transferred to Watsons Whizzers, Lechfeld.
    Operated with markings: 555, Willie

    While with Watsons Whizzers it was flown by Karl Baur who took American Pilots on familiarization flights.

    6 July 1945

    Ferry flight.
    Moved to Cherbourg, France. Damaged on landing at Cherbourg when the nose gear collapsed.

    Repaired.
    Repaired by replacing the nose with another from Lechfeld. During the restoration in the 1990s it was discovered the source airframe for the nose was 130005.

    Transported by ship.
    Moved from Cherbourg, France, to the United States on the HMS Reaper.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 121448.

    1945

    Transferred to NAS Patuxent River, MD.
    Sent to Patuxent River for flight tests.

    To National Naval Aviation Museum, Pensacola, FL.

    Loaned to NAS Willow Grove, PA.

    Loaned for use as a pattern airframe for production of replicas.

    Restoration started.
    Restoration to static display condition initiated. During the restoration it was discovered the nose included an experimental gun compartment heating system which had only been installed on the tenth prototype, 130005.
