Incident occurred at the Oliver Farms Airport, Saginaw, TX. The flight departed from Ft Worth, TX, with the destination Ft Worth, TX. The engine failed or malfunctioned while on final approach to land. Collided with a fence while on final approach to land. There was a partial power loss with the failure of one engine...

    To Conrad Shields, Marion, IN with new c/r N8775K {2}.
    Purchased by Mr. Shield from Mr. Johnson after recovering. Was N9357K, but N8775K was painted on the airframe, which took months to resolve the paperwork and officially change the N-Number.

    The accident occurred at the Central Maine Airport (OWK) Norridgewock, ME, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. A flight instructor offered to give instruction, in a tailwheel airplane, to a rated commercial pilot who had not flown in this make and model prior to this flight. The rated pilot receiving instruction was seated in the left seat of the airplane. The airplane was not equipped with brakes on the right side where the flight instructor was seated...
