    Transferred to SMAAR, Tuy Hoa AB, RVN.
    For Maintenance.

    Transferred to 416th TFS, 37th TFW (PAF), Phu Cat AB, RVN.

    Misty FAC aircraft, flown in combat by several notable USAF figures, including Gen. Merrill McPeak and Gen. Ronald Fogleman (former USAF chiefs of staff), and Col. Richard Rutan (the chief pilot of the first around-the-world) unrefueled flight.

    Transferred to 31st Tactical Fighter Wing (PACAF), Tuy Hoa Air Base, Vietnam.

    23 September 1970

    Transferred to 4403rd Tactical Fighter Wing (TAC), England AFB, LA.

    From 18 June 1971 to 1979

    Transferred to 163rd Tactical Fighter Squadron (ANG), 122nd Tactical Fighter Group, Fort Wayne, IN.

    26 September 1979

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number FE607.

    28 August 1990

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-3837.
    Flown to Tracor Flight Systems Incorporated at Mojave for conversion to QF-100F, but conversion was cancelled. Aircraft returned to AMARC.

    From 26 February 1991 to After May 1996

    Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) with inventory number FE631.

    2001

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
    Aircraft remained at AMARC at this time.

    Disassembled.
    Dismantled for shipment to Wright Patterson for restoration.

    18 June 2002

    Transported by air.
    Moved to National Museum of the USAF for restoration and display.

    Markings Applied: HE, 56837
    Painted as it appeared in March 1968 with 37th TFW.

    Placed on display.
