    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Chevak Airport (VAK) Chevak, AK, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The scheduled flight depd bethel, ak, with a weather dispatch release. When the flight reached the destn (Chevak, AK), the station manager (a non-certified weather observer) adzd the flight crew to not attempt a lndg, because the weather was not good. According to the flight crew, however, the fog was not obscuring the runway they elected to make an apch...
