    Constructed as a F/A-18A-22-MC (Lot 9) by McDonnell Douglas.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Marine Corps with BuNo 163157.

    Transferred to VMFA-122, MCAS Beaufort, SC.

    Damaged.
    Suffered catastrophic right engine fire and made emergency landing at Andrews AFB. Damaged beyond repair.

    October 1998

    Placed on display with Beaufort MCAS (South Side), Beaufort, SC.
