    Constructed as a Meteor T.7 by Gloster at Hucclecote, Glos.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n WH132.

    16 July 1966

    New serial number assigned: 7906M RAF

    Transferred to No. 5 MU, Kemble.

    26 July 1966

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Air Force.

    To 276 (Chelmsford) Squadron, Air Training Corps, Chelmsford, Essex, England.

    Notes: Aircraft is situated within the Air Training Corps compound, which is fenced. The fence is made of aluminium slats. These are spaced apart widely enough that it is possible to poke a lens between to get a clear photograph.

    Notes: Gloster Meteor T7 WH132 / J outside 276 Sqn Air Training Corps at their HQ in Meteor Way, Chelmsford. This airframe has now been moved to RAF Leconfield in East Yorkshire where it has become the Gate Guardian

    In arrived at for restoration prior to display there as gate guardian.

    Transported by ground. Delivered to The Hooton Park Trust, Hooton Park, Cheshire.
    Collected from Leconfield and transported in 3 sections to Hooton Park. Bought by The Hooton Park Trust for restoration and display in one of the 3 Grade II(*) listed hangars.
