Timothy Hollister comments (11 November 2018): This was one of the aircraft I was assigned during my aviation career. I am CW3 Timothy L. Hollister (RET). At the time I was assigned this aircraft I was the Quality Control Officer and one of the Maintenance Test Pilots in the 503rd Avn Bn in Hanau, West Germany. CW2 Fisher, I am happy to report she was still flying in 1984 with over 10,000 hours as an AH-1S(FMC). I poured through the historical records of this aircraft and it spend time in Viet Nam as an AH1G, Fort Rucker as a TH-1G, and in West Germany as a Fully Modernized. I have stopped by Croswell, MI and seen my old friend. Next time up there, I will get a few photos.
