    26 June 1999

    Crashed.
The accident occurred at the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek Airport (AZO) Kalamazoo, MI, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The airplane ground looped while landing. The pilot reported the winds were light and variable from the southeast, for the landing on runway 23. He stated there was no crosswind correction required during the approach and landing. The pilot stated the airplane veered sharply to the left during the landing roll and he was unable to correct the movement...
For a complete description of the event read the NTSB Report.

    Restored.
    Markings Applied: 202, U.S. NAVY 202, 5736, N2S-5, N2PP
Static restoration. It is important to note here the airframe was returned to its exact marks as prior to the restoration including having the original registration N2PP applied even though now registered N28PU. This is also important to note as of the time of the restoration another airframe has been registered as N2PP and the exactly same colour scheme and markings were applied. Even though marked the same these two airframes are completely different identities.
