    Constructed as a F4H-1 by McDonnell at Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

    Circa October 1961

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 148412.

    Circa October 1961

    Loaned to McDonnell Aircraft, Saint. Louis, MO.
    Bailed back to McDonnell for use as an F4H-1 airframe test aircraft.

    6 July 1962

    Redesignated as F-4B-8-MC.

    First aircraft to fire Phoenix missile.

    Circa January 1964

    Transferred to Fighter Squadron 14 (VF-14), USS Franklin D. Roosevelt.

    11 December 1964

    Damaged.
    Written off in a deck accident on USS F.D. Roosevelt.

    Circa 1965

    Transferred to Chanute Technical Training Center (Air Training Command), Chanute AFB, IL.
    Assigned as ground trainer.

    Circa 1965

    Redesignated as GF-4B.

    30 June 1972

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.
    SOC by Air Force Plant Representative Office, McDonnell Aircraft, St. Louis, MO.

    April 1991

    Slung under a helicopter (probably a CH-47) and carried to Lincoln. At some point in the roughly 60nm journey she started to shift and slip in her sling and had to be set down in a corn field. Their she stayed overnight. The next morning the straps were readjusted and she finished her trip.
