    Notes: C-119F N15509 tanker #36 operated by T and G Inc, at home base Chandler Arizona in October 1979. Its RCAF origins are obvious from the paint scheme, however the right rudder is an ex-US Navy spare unit

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was destroyed. There were 8,643 hours on the airframe at the time. The cargo flight departed Venetie Airport, AK (VEE/PAVE), United States of America and was destined for Fairbanks International Airport, AK (FAI/PAFA), United States of America. The accident occurred at Venetie Airport, AK (VEE) (United States of America) while taking off. Narrative: Went off the runway while taking off from a snow covered runway with a 5-10 knots tailwind. The aircraft is preserved at Hill Aerospace Museum, Hill AFB, Utah...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Tobin Creek Airport Venetie, AK, United States while taking off. The airframe was destroyed. The pilot was attempting a takeoff on an airstrip where braking action was considered good during the normal summer season. It was about 3000 feet in elevation was snow covered most of the year, as on the day of the accident. The strip accomodated takeoffs to the south only due to grading and obstructions.
