    Constructed as a F-106A-95-CO by Convair at San Diego, California, USA.
    118th F-106 produced by Convair at San Diego, CA.

    16 September 1959

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 58-0761.

    16 September 1959

    To 456th FIS, Castle AFB, CA.
    1st F-106 assigned to 456th FIS.

    19 December 1960

    Transferred to 71st FIS, 1st FW, Selfridge AFB, MI.

    8 January 1963

    Damaged.
    Damaged by fire in another nearby F-106A (58-0763) at Selfridge AFB, Michigan.

    After January 1963

    Written off.
    Deemed un-repairable. Taken to the Air Force Academy, repainted and served as a static display on the terrazzo near the Chapel.

    By 1967

    To United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO.

    It was rolled down the Bring Me Men ramp by cadets once too often, suffering extensive damage, and was taken from the USAF Academy.
