    Constructed as a F-4D-30-MC by McDonnell at Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

    14 April 1967

    First flight.

    9 June 1967

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 66-7635.

    Converted to an EF-4D.
    Modified as EF-4D Wild Weasel flak suppression aircraft. This is one of only two F-4Ds converted to EF-4D standard.

    By October 1975

    To General Dynmaics.
    Bailed to General Dynamics for use as a test plane. It was testing the APR-38 system (big chin and fin pods) along with its three nose and one fin lo-band black strip antennae as later used on the production F-4G conversions. Flew with a bright orange tail.

    Transferred to 35th TFW, George AFB, CA.
    Operated with markings: GA

    By 1979

    Transferred to 430th TFS, 474th TFW, Nellis AFB, NV.
    Operated with markings: NA

    By 1980

    Redesignated as F-4D-30-MC.

    1980

    Transferred to 308th TFS, 31st TFW, Homestead AFB, FL.
    Operated with markings: ZF

    By June 1987

    Transferred to 179th FIS, 148th FIG, Minnesota ANG, Duluth IAP, MN.
    Operated with markings: Duluth, MINNESOTA
