    Transferred to 31st TFW, Homestead AFB, FL.

    By March 1986

    Transferred to 179th FIS, 148th FIG, Minnesota ANG, Duluth IAP, MN.
    Operated with markings: Duluth, MINNESOTA

    From 1 March 1986 to 6 April 1987

    One of three 179th FIS F-4Ds deployed to Ramstein AB, West Germany, during Creek Klaxon to stand alert duties for the 86th TFW as they transitioned from F-4Es to F-16C/Ds.
