    Constructed as an AT-6D-NT by North American at Dallas, Texas, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-85696.

    To Robert Miles of Sacramento, CA keeping c/r N2864D.

    To Ben Harrison of Seattle, WA keeping c/r N2864D.

    From 1968 to 1975

    Restored.
    Ben Harrison conducts a major restoration of the aircraft. After more than 4,500 hours of work, the airplane returns to the sky in August 1975 in the colors of a Navy SNJ-3 instrument trainer.

    From 13 September 1977 to 18 September 1977

    Raced as #64.
    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was Ben Harrison from Seattle, WA. Qualified in 17th place with an average speed of 183.99 mph. Raced in the Make-Up race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 183.83 mph.
