    Notes: On January 4, 1962, N75Q made an emergency landing in an empty field in North Hollywood, California and flipped over. I was one of the spectators in the background of the photo which I recently discovered in the LA Times archives.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Shade Tree Field (MS82) Lyman, MS, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot stated that, during landing, the main landing gear wheels touched down on the turf runway at an indicated speed of 90 mph. During the landing roll, the right main landing gear encountered a soft spot on the runway and collapsed...
