    Constructed as a YB-58A-CF by Consolidated at Fort Worth, TX, USA.

    Circa 1955

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 55-0668.

    To 6592nd Test Squadron, ARDC (later AFSC), Carswell AFB, TX.
    Used for various special projects; Hughes AN/APQ-69 SLAR, Goodyear AN/APS-73.

    Originally scheduled to be first airframe fitted with J79-GE-9 engines for B-58B.

    Converted to a TB-58A.

    Transferred to 43rd Bombardment Wing, Carswell AFB, TX.

    From By September 1964 to January 1970

    Transferred to 43rd Bombardment Wing, Little Rock AFB, AR.
    Operated with markings: Wild Child II
    43rd Bombardment Wing, Little Rock AFB, AR. When sent to MASDC in 1/1970 it was the last B-58 to depart Little Rock AFB.

    Markings Applied: Peeping Tom

    16 January 1971

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number BQ081.

    1978

    Prepared for airlift to Texas on a C-5 Galaxy for the Southwest Aviation Museum at Carswell.

    Notes: at allied aircraft sales in Tucson I was taking panels off prepping for the guys from Ft Worth to come out to cut the wings off to get it in a C5 and home. Worked with the group in Ft Worth and when I joined the Air Force I was sent to DM
