    Constructed as an An-26.

    September 1981

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Nationalen Volksarmee (National Peoples Army) with s/n 369.

    Converted to an An-26SM.
    Modified to carry out measurement flights on instrument landing systems, navigation systems and secondary radar systems. Unofficially called An-26SM.

    26 September 1988

    Civil registration DDR-SBL reserved but not taken up.

    3 October 1990

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Luftwaffe with s/n 52+09.

    20 June 1994

    Placed on display with Luftwaffen Museum, ex RAF Gatow, Berlin, Berlin.
