    Constructed as a F-105F-1-RE by Republic at Farmindale, New York, USA.

    Circa 1963

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 63-8300.

    Converted to a F-105G.

    19 April 1967

    Captain Lo K. Thorsness and Harold Hohnson were awarded the Medal of Honor for thair actions on this day. They provided cover for the attempted rescue of another downed F-105G, and while doing so shot down two MiG-17s. The crew continued to engage even after running out of ammunition.

    Contracted to Ailes Anciennes Toulouse, Blagnac Airport (North East side), Toulouse, Midi-Pyrenees for work on the airframe.

    To Musee de L air et de L Espace (The Air and Space Museum), Le Bourget, Paris, Ile-De-France.
    Officially handed over to the museum on this date.
