Notes: This is me at age 6 getting ready to fly N9606R with my dad to check out Deltona Fl. before it was Deltona. My dad was the city planner for Deltona Corp/Mackle Brothers and designed cities in Florida. I always thought that Deltona owned the aircraft but after looking at the history it looks like it was owned by Southern Air. I remember vividly that I got to sit in the co-pilot seat and got to fly it straight and level for about 5 seconds. One of my favorite memories. |
