    One of the 20 RF-4Cs retrofitted with the ARN-92 LORAN-D navigation system with a towel rail antenna on the upper rear fuselage, which provided all-weather blind navigation capability.

    Transferred to 363rd TRW, Shaw Air Force Base, SC.

    From By 1975 to After 1979

    Transferred to 38th TRS, 26th TRW, Zweibrucken Air Base, Germany.
    Operated with markings: ZR

    Transferred to 67th TRW, Bergstrom Air Force Base, TX.

    From 1984 to 1988

    Transferred to 190th TRS, 124th TRG, Idaho ANG, Gowen Field, Boise, ID.

    July 1988

    Withdrawn from use.
    Used as a battle damage repair (BDR) trainer at Gowen Field, Idaho.
