    Modifications included good airframe cleanup including removing and fairing over the wing gun ports and the installation of a P-51H Aeroproducts propeller. Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was E D Weiner. Qualified in 8th place with an average speed of 288.40 mph. Started Heat 1, but did not finish. Raced in the Trophy race. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 282.72 mph.

    Raced as #14, named BARDAHL II.
    Modifications included good airframe cleanup including removing and fairing over the wing gun ports and the installation of a blunt-tip Hamilton Standard propeller. Competed at the National Air Races Los Angeles in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was E D Weiner. No time was recorded and finished in 7th place. Raced in Heat 1. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 332.44 mph. Raced in the Reserve race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 328.60 mph. Raced in the Trophy race. Finished in 5th place with an average speed of 346.89 mph.

    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was E D Weiner. Qualified in 8th place with an average speed of 315.44 mph. Raced in Heat B. Finished in 5th place with an average speed of 328.35 mph. Started Heat 3 Silver, but did not finish.

    Notes: On past performances E.D. Weiner and his Cross country prepared Mustang N335 had to be the favorite for the 1967 Harolds Club Race. Having just defeated Mike Carroll and his Sea Fury in a cross country dash to Cleveland I am sure he was very surprised that Mike and the Sea Fury had defeated him. Bob Pauley took this beautiful photo of this Mustang on the ramp during the 1967 Reno Air Races.
