    Refurbished this and seven other aircraft for sale to Venezuelan Air Force. Converted back to full military configuration including a new glass nose replacing the RCAF solid nose, side gun packs and some armor plating.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Fuerza Aerea Venezolana with s/n 19A40.

    Transferred to Number 40 Squadron.

    Withdrawn from use.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Fuerza Aerea Boliviana with s/n 541.

    From 1973 to 1979

    Used as administrative and transport aircraft. Last B-25 to fly for the Bolivian Air Force.

    Became a gate guardian at military section at La Paz, Bolivia.

    To C. A. Bird.

    May 1985

    To Doan Helicopter Inc/Harry S. Doan, New Smyrna Beach, FL with new c/r N25NA.
    Aircraft was rebuilt to ferry condition at La Paz.

    23 March 1987

    Certificate of airworthiness for NL25NA (B-25J, 44-86725) issued.

    Ferry flight.
    To Titusville, FL. The first leg of the trip was to Manaus, Brazil over 975 miles mostly over the Amazon jungle. The second portion of the trip was 1129 miles to Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles and the final portion of the trip to Fort Pierce, Florida covered 1131 nautical miles.

    2 April 1987

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Titusville, FL, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The pilot stated that he was in the vicinity of melbourne fl when the right engine failed. He secured the right engine and turned back towards new smyrna beach, but as he was nearing tico airport the left engine also failed. The pilot, realizing he was not going to make the airport, elected to land in a pond next to I-95 near Titusville, FL...

    Sold partially restored at Doan Auction to Air Power Ltd, Hillsboro, OR.

    From April 1993 to 1995

    To Stallion Aircraft Inc, Bensenville, IL keeping c/r N25NA.

    Restored.
    Operated by Jack Rogers/Air Classics Aviation Museum, Chicago-DuPage Airport.
