    Flew Operation Blind Bat missions in Vietnam.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the South Vietnam Air Force with s/n 56-0500.

    1975

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-0500.

    Transferred to 35th Tactical Airlift Squadron, Naha Air Base, Okinawa.

    Transferred to 105th Tactical Airlift Squadron, 118th Tactical Airlift Wing, Tennessee ANG, Berry Field ANG Base, Nashville, TN.

    By June 1980

    Transferred to 64th Tactical Airlift Squadron, 440th Tactical Airlift Wing (AFRES), OHare Airport, Chicago, IL.

    To unknown owner with c/r N223MA.

    Used in 1980s for an Oldsmobile commercial where 6 prototypes were dropped out the back of the aircraft. All of the cars were destroyed in the drops. Later flown to Zaire for the filming of a movie called Escape from Zaire.
