    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Tooele, UT, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that he encountered a downdraft while crossing a ridgeline in mountainous terrain, approximately 5 mile north-east of Tooele, UT. The elevation of the acdnt site was about 9000 feet the temp was reported by the pilot to be 80 deg. This would have resultedin a density altitude of about 12500 feet. The pilot said he should have selected a route around the mountains.

    The wreckage was transported to Jerome, ID (near Twin Falls) where it was completely restored to flying condition.

    First post-restoration Flight.
