    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Loxley, AL, United States. The damage was substantial. According to the pilot, during cruise flight the engine began to run rough and lose power. He heard a loud metallic sound; the engine vibrated violently and then lost power. He performed a forced landing to a farm field and the airplane nosed over in the soft terrain, resulting in substantial damage to the wings. A postaccident inspection revealed that the crankshaft would not rotate...

    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 10,371 hours on the airframe at the time. The private flight departed Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, FL (DTS/KDTS), United States of America and was destined for De Ridder-Beauregard Parish Airport, LA (DRI/KDRI), United States of America. The accident occurred at near Loxley, AL (United States of America) while en route. The airframe was damaged beyond repair. Narrative: An Antonov 2, N122AN, was substantially damaged following a loss of engine power and forced landing near Loxley, Alabama...
