    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number CHI81FEP41: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 12: 30 hours. The damage was substantial. The flight departed from Oskhosh, WI, with the destination Cleveland, OH. The engine failed or malfunctioned while cruising. The gear collapsed during the landing rollout. The factors included; high vegetation on terrain. There was complete power loss in the failure of one engine...

    Notes: De Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk (N1114V) - With the fancy paint job and wheel pants, I had trouble recognising this bird without the usual RAF or RCAF roundels. This trainer turned aerobat was built in 1950.
