    9 October 1985

    To William M. Simmons, Avery Island, LO with new c/r N104DC.

    19 October 1985

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Jennings Airport (3R7) Jennings, LA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The aircraft contacted a ditch and nosed down during an overrun landing. The aircraft was in a flight of 3 AT6S landing at the airport for a fly-in. N104DC touched down on the 2000 feet freshly mowed grass strip approximately 500 to 600 feet from the end. The pilot stated the application of brakes was ineffective...
