    Rebuilt at Chino, CA, with fabric-covered control surfaces.

    To Glen Hyde, Dallas, TX.

    7 January 1987

    Certificate of airworthiness for NX100CV (F4U-5, 124447) issued.

    21 January 1987

    First post-restoration Flight.
    Flown at Chino, CA.

    To IR3T Inc, Roanoke, TX and Pahrump, NV.

    Leased to USMC Museum.
