    20 December 1971

Certificate of airworthiness for N8993 (HARVARD II B, 66-2709) issued.
The registry qoutes the ID of c/n 66-2709 which was a Harvard II with RCAF s/n 2976. That airframe was involved in a mid-air collision in April 1941 and was taken out of service at that time. It is unclear if that airframe was scrapped or destroyed. Either way that is the last recorded event for that airframe. It is unclear why this airframe adopted the ID of 66-2709.
