    Transferred to 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, 355th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC.
    Operated with markings: MB

    From September 1972 to May 1974

    Deployed to Thailand for combat in Vietnam (one of first A-7Ds in the Vietnam War).

    From 1977 to July 1991

    Transferred to 162nd Tactical Fighter Squadron, 138th Tactical Fighter Group, Ohio ANG, Springfield, OH.
    Operated with markings: OHIO in tail stripe
