    Involved in an incident.
    The ATSB is investigating a collision with terrain involving a de Havilland DHC-2, registered VH-AWD, 70 km NNE of Hamilton Island, Queensland, on 13 March 2017.During take-off, the seaplane collided with coral reef resulting in damage to the left float. During removal, the seaplane subsequently sank from water intake. There were no injuries and the aircraft was substantially damaged.
