Notes: KRHV - Ford Tri Motor N9651 City of Philadelphia at Amelia Reid aviation ramp late 1980 in San Jose, CA. This Tri- was based at the Flying Lady Restaurant in Morgan Hill,CA and usually kept in the large hangar there along with many other old warbirds and Bi-Planes. The aircaft at the flying Lady complex used the 16th Fairway on the adjacent Golf Course for take offs and landings on the grass doubling as a Runway. Between 1990-91 the company I work for was required to check equipment at the Flying Lady Complex and I was able to get in the Aircraft barn various times, but did not have my camera with me. The Ford Tri-Motor was sold years later after this photo and was sent to Florida. The Flying Lady went out of business after a structural accident at the restaurant put them out of business.
