    Constructed as a Lim-2 by WSK-Mielec at Poland.

    24 April 1956

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Sily Powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej with s/n 1527.

    24 April 1956

    Transferred to 29 Pulk Lotnictwa Mysliwskiego (29th Fighter Aviation Regiment), Orneta, Poland.

    1960

    Transferred to 48 Pulk Lotnictwa Mysliwsko-Szturmowego (48th Fighter-Attack Aviation Regiment), Inowroclaw-Latkowo, Poland.

    1964

    Converted to a Lim-2R by WSK-Mielec at Poland.
    Converted by LZR No 4 in Warsaw, Poland.

    10 June 1964

    Transferred to 21 Pulk Lotnictwa Rozpoznania Taktycznego (21st Tactical Reconnaissance Aviation Regiment), Sochaczew-Bielice, Poland.

    By 1972

    Transferred to WOSL Deblin, Poland.

    Transferred to COSSTWL in Olesnica, Poland.

    Circa 1976

    Transferred to Lotnicze Zaklady Remontowe NR 2 (Aviation Repair Works No 2) in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
    Engine and rear section of fuselage from this plane were used to upgrade MiG-15UTI to SBLim-2A standard, new aircraft received s/n 3814. Remaining front of Lim-2R was fitted with now redundant rear part of modified MiG-15UTI in purpose of placing it as a memorial. Because of that it now resembles Lim-1 in outward appearance.

    December 1976

    Placed on display with Andrychow, Malopolskie (Lesser Poland Voivodeship).
    Mounted as a memorial.
