    Constructed as a XV-11A.
    Designed by MSU and built by Parsons Corp. with US Army funds

    Circa 1965

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 65-13070.

    1 December 1965

    First flight.

    From 1965 to April 1967

    Used for experiments in boundary layer control. 35 hours in 49 flights.

    April 1967

    To Mississippi State University.
    Placed in storage.

    1981

    Assigned civil registration: N2768Q

    1982

    Modified extensively using composite materials for use as proof-of-concept STOL demonstrator for Saudi Arabia.

    Tested in Saudi Arabia but found unsuitable for their purpose and returned to MSU.

    2000

    Displayed at the EAA fly in.

    2004

    To Southern Museum of Flight, Birmingham, AL.
