    Dates

    Event

    Constructed as a Hunter F.4.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XE664 {1}.

    From 1955 to 1958

    Transferred to 26 Squadron.

    Transferred to Hawkers.
    Transferred for conversion to a T.8.

    The F.4 cockpit section was permanently removed from the airframe to facilitate the conversion to T.8.

    Transferred to ATC Squadron, Marlborough.
    Used as a training aid.

    The Squadron was disbanded and eventually it was saved from being scrapped by one of the teachers at the school.

    21 February 1999

    Placed on display with Gloucestershire Aviation Collections Jet Age Museum, Staverton Airport, Gloucestershire, England.
    Only the F.4 cockpit survives here.
