    Constructed as a C-140A-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 59-5959.

    From 1967 to Circa 1974

    Transferred to 1867th Flight Checking Squadron, Clark Air Base, Philippines.

    1968

    Aircraft was used for combat flight inspection and navigation. It was hit by ground fire on two occasions in Viet Nam in 1968 damaging the left auxiliary fuel tank, the left elevator cover area and the left horizontal stabilizer.

    By 1975

    Transferred to 1868th Flight Checking Squadron, Rhein-Main AB, Germany.

    Transferred to Richards Gebaur AFB, Kansas City, MO.

    From 1978 to 1987

    Transferred to 1866th Facility Checking Squadron, Scott AFB, IL.
