Greg Ely comments (16 January 2020): The aircraft, known as Annie, because of a name written inside the structure, has new used landing gear, and was moved into a hanger @ Livermore AP (LVK) for repairs. Progress on the restoration can be followed on Facebook or by Googling Valiant Effort LLC The hopes are to have her back in the air in 2 to 3 years. |

Grey Ely comments (12 September 2023): Current status: rebuilt landing gear, brakes, brake lines, wheel bearings, repairs to rudder cables, new hoses, and much more has been done in the last 2 years. New engine and propeller ready to be installed in late September,2023 hoping for engine tests in early spring. Its not easy (or cheap) to restore a warbird! |
