    Retained for a time as factory demo/loaner. Approximate selling price was $10,000.

    Dave Austion report in July 2013: Based on personal visit with owner Allen Watkins Sr in 1973, logbooks exhibit entries of flights by, and signatures of, James Doolittle and Charles Lindberg, among other famous aviators of the early 1930s.
