    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-77575.

    Transferred to 48th TCS, 313rd TCG, RAF Folkingham, UK.

    24 March 1945

    During Operation Varsity it dropped paratroopers from 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment over Wesel in Germany. Sustained damage from AA artillery, was hit by several 20 mm and 40 mm rounds as well as machine gun fire.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Japanese Air Self Defense Force with s/n 51-1124.

    August 1978
