    Constructed as a RF-84F-20-RE by Republic at Farmingdale, New York, USA.

    Circa 1952

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 52-7265.

    Circa 1953

    Converted to a GRF-84F.
    Used in the FICON (FIghter CONveyor) project.

    December 1955

    Redesignated as RF-84K-17-RE.

    13 January 1956

    Damaged.
    While attempting to hook on to the trapeze of a GRB-36D mothership in turbulent conditions.
