    Constructed as an A6M2 Type 0 Model 21.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Japanese Air Self Defense Force with s/n V-173.

    From Circa 1945 to Circa 1974

    Abandoned at Gasmata Airfield, where it lay undisturbed until 1974.

    Circa 1988

    Restoration completed at Wagga Wagga, NSW.

    Circa 1988

    The restoration contains parts from two other Zeros: A6M2 3618 and A6M5 4043.
