    From Circa 1943 to Circa 1945

    Constructed as a Yak-3.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily with s/n 25 white.

    Transferred to French Normandie-Niemen Squadron, Russian Front.

    20 June 1945

    Ferry flight.
    NNS Yak-3Us ferried to Paris.

    1950

    Disassembled.
    Scrapped at a French air base.

    Restored.
    Assembled as a composite from components in a scrapyard. The work was carried out by Squadron pilot Constantin Feldzer for donation to the museum.

    From 1950 to 1960

    To Musee de lAir, Chalais-Meudon.

    Markings Applied: 18
    Displayed in a Soviet Air Force NNS colour scheme.

    1970

    On behalf of the owner stored with/at Musee Air and Space, San Jose, San Jose, Ile-De-France.

    Repainted as a Normandie-Niemen Soviet Air Force airframe.
