    Constructed as a Tiger Moth II by de Havilland at Hatfield.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n DE974.

    From 14 March 1955 to 13 June 1980

    To Norman Jones with new c/r G-ANZZ.

    Colin Labouchere comments (2025-01-29): Converted by Rollason Aircraft and Engines to Super Tiger status, and named the Archbishop. Gipsy Major 1C, metal propeller, single seat, inverted fuel system, fuel tank in the front cockpit.

    First flight.
    Test flown from Croydon Airport.

    9 July 1959

    Flown by Leon Biancotto in the Lockheed Trophy (effectively the World Aerobatic Championship) attaining 4th place.
