    Circa 1957

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-0754.

    Transferred to Air Research and Development Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

    Converted to a JF-104A.

    Transferred to Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA.

    19 September 1967

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number FB001.

    22 April 1971

    Aircraft was still located at MASDC.

    22 October 1971

    Aircraft declared excess at MASDC.

    By November 1992

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.

    Aircraft was located on the east side of Wright Field on a ramp by the restoration hangar.

    Returned to display after replacing wings with those of F-104D 57-1322.
