    Was allocated s/n WH575 with the Royal Air Force but was not taken up.

    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. The testing flight departed Filton Airport (FZO/EGTG), United Kingdom. The accident occurred at Filton Airport (FZO) (United Kingdom) while taking off. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: Crashed on takeoff. Both engines cut during simulated single engine failure; rebuilt as Mk. 31.

    Permanently withdrawn from use.

    Centre section used in rebuild of B170 Freighter ZK-CRM.

    1968

    Fuselage used in the rebuild of B170 freighter ZK-CNF.

    To Ferrymead Heritage Park, Christchurch, Canterbury, South Island.
    Only the nose section survives here.
